Lord Hanuman, the devoted servant of Rama Hanuman statues often are colored vermilion because when he saw Sita put sindoor on her hair, he asked why she did it, and she said it was for the benefit of Sri Ram. So he covered his entire body in sindoor. Hanuman even has his own unique orange-ish color of sindoor (sometimes called Bajrangbali Sindoor).
