Hail, Son of Nanda. Nanda Son who steals the butter. Son of Nanda, from Yadhu. Nanda is the name of the chief of cowherds under whose care the Vrishni brothers of the house of Shura, Krishna and Balaraama, grew up, Nandalaala means ‘the little boy of Nanda’, or ‘Nanda’s rascal’. Krishna is also referred to as Yashodanandana, meaning son of Yashoda.
