āpadāmapahartāraṃ dātāraṃ sarvasampadām । lōkābhirāmaṃ śrīrāmaṃ bhūyō bhūyō namāmyaham ॥ namaḥ kōdaṇḍahastāya sandhīkṛtaśarāya cha । daṇḍitākhiladaityāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 1 ॥ āpannajanarakṣaikadīkṣāyāmitatējasē । namō'stu viṣṇavē tubhyaṃ rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 2 ॥ padāmbhōjarajassparśapavitramuniyōṣitē । namō'stu sītāpatayē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 3 ॥ dānavēndramahāmattagajapañchāsyarūpiṇē । namō'stu raghunāthāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 4 ॥ mahijākuchasaṃlagnakuṅkumāruṇavakṣasē । namaḥ kalyāṇarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 5 ॥ padmasambhava bhūtēśa munisaṃstutakīrtayē । namō mārtāṇḍavaṃśyāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 6 ॥ haratyārtiṃ cha lōkānāṃ yō vā madhuniṣūdanaḥ । namō'stu harayē tubhyaṃ rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 7 ॥ tāpakāraṇasaṃsāragajasiṃhasvarūpiṇē । namō vēdāntavēdyāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 8 ॥ raṅgattaraṅgajaladhigarvahṛchCharadhāriṇē । namaḥ pratāparūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 9 ॥ dārōpahitachandrāvataṃsadhyātasvamūrtayē । namaḥ satyasvarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 10 ॥ tārānāyakasaṅkāśavadanāya mahaujasē । namō'stu tāṭakāhantrē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 11 ॥ ramyasānulasachchitrakūṭāśramavihāriṇē । namaḥ saumitrisēvyāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 12 ॥ sarvadēvahitāsakta daśānanavināśinē । namō'stu duḥkhadhvaṃsāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 13 ॥ ratnasānunivāsaika vandyapādāmbujāya cha । namastrailōkyanāthāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 14 ॥ saṃsārabandhamōkṣaikahētudhāmaprakāśinē । namaḥ kaluṣasaṃhartrē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 15 ॥ pavanāśuga saṅkṣipta mārīchādi surārayē । namō makhaparitrātrē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 16 ॥ dāmbhikētarabhaktaughamahadānandadāyinē । namaḥ kamalanētrāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 17 ॥ lōkatrayōdvēgakara kumbhakarṇaśiraśChidē । namō nīradadēhāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 18 ॥ kākāsuraikanayanaharallīlāstradhāriṇē । namō bhaktaikavēdyāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 19 ॥ bhikṣurūpasamākrānta balisarvaikasampadē । namō vāmanarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 20 ॥ rājīvanētrasuspanda ruchirāṅgasurōchiṣē । namaḥ kaivalyanidhayē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 21 ॥ mandamārutasaṃvīta mandāradrumavāsinē । namaḥ pallavapādāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 22 ॥ śrīkaṇṭhachāpadaḻanadhurīṇabalabāhavē । namaḥ sītānuṣaktāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 23 ॥ rājarājasuhṛdyōṣārchita maṅgaḻamūrtayē । nama ikṣvākuvaṃśyāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 24 ॥ mañjulādarśaviprēkṣaṇōtsukaikavilāsinē । namaḥ pālitabhaktāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 25 ॥ bhūribhūdhara kōdaṇḍamūrti dhyēyasvarūpiṇē । namō'stu tējōnidhayē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 26 ॥ yōgīndrahṛtsarōjātamadhupāya mahātmanē । namō rājādhirājāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 27 ॥ bhūvarāhasvarūpāya namō bhūripradāyinē । namō hiraṇyagarbhāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 28 ॥ yōṣāñjalivinirmukta lājāñchitavapuṣmatē । namaḥ saundaryanidhayē rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 29 ॥ nakhakōṭivinirbhinnadaityādhipativakṣasē । namō nṛsiṃharūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 30 ॥ māyāmānuṣadēhāya vēdōddharaṇahētavē । namō'stu matsyarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 31 ॥ mitiśūnya mahādivyamahimnē mānitātmanē । namō brahmasvarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 32 ॥ ahaṅkārētarajana svāntasaudhavihāriṇē । namō'stu chitsvarūpāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 33 ॥ sītālakṣmaṇasaṃśōbhipārśvāya paramātmanē । namaḥ paṭṭābhiṣiktāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ॥ 34 ॥ agrataḥ pṛṣṭhataśchaiva pārśvataścha mahābalau । ākarṇapūrṇadhanvānau rakṣētāṃ rāmalakṣmaṇau ॥ 35 ॥ sannaddhaḥ kavachī khaḍgī chāpabāṇadharō yuvā । tiṣṭhanmamāgratō nityaṃ rāmaḥ pātu salakṣmaṇaḥ ॥ 36 ॥ āpadāmapahartāraṃ dātāraṃ sarvasampadām । lōkābhirāmaṃ śrīrāmaṃ bhūyō bhūyō namāmyaham ॥ phalaśruti imaṃ stavaṃ bhagavataḥ paṭhēdyaḥ prītamānasaḥ । prabhātē vā pradōṣē vā rāmasya paramātmanaḥ ॥ 1 ॥ sa tu tīrtvā bhavāmbōdhimāpadassakalānapi । rāmasāyujyamāpnōti dēvadēvaprasādataḥ ॥ 2 ॥ kārāgṛhādibādhāsu samprāptē bahusaṅkaṭē । āpannivārakastōtraṃ paṭhēdyastu yathāvidhiḥ ॥ 3 ॥ saṃyōjyānuṣṭubhaṃ mantramanuślōkaṃ smaranvibhum । saptāhātsarvabādhābhyō muchyatē nātra saṃśayaḥ ॥ 4 ॥ dvātriṃśadvārajapataḥ pratyahaṃ tu dṛḍhavrataḥ । vaiśākhē bhānumālōkya pratyahaṃ śatasaṅkhyayā ॥ 5 ॥ dhanavān dhanadaprakhyassa bhavēnnātra saṃśayaḥ । bahunātra kimuktēna yaṃ yaṃ kāmayatē naraḥ ॥ 6 ॥ taṃ taṃ kāmamavāpnōti stōtrēṇānēna mānavaḥ । yantrapūjāvidhānēna japahōmāditarpaṇaiḥ ॥ 7 ॥ yastu kurvīta sahasā sarvānkāmānavāpnuyāt । iha lōkē sukhī bhūtvā parē muktō bhaviṣyati ॥ 8 ॥
I bow again and again to Śrī Rāma, remover of all distress, bestower of every blessing, delight of the world. Salutations to Him who bears the mighty bow, whose arrows are ever set, who has subdued all demons— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to You, O radiant One, wholly devoted to protecting those in distress— to You, O Viṣṇu as Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the Lord of Sītā, whose foot-dust sanctified the sage’s wife— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the Lord of the Raghu line, who is as a lion to the mad elephants of demon kings— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the auspicious One, whose chest is reddened with the saffron of Sītā— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the scion of the Solar race, praised by Brahmā, Śiva, and the sages— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Hari, who destroys the suffering of all beings and slew the demon Madhu— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the One known through Vedānta, who is as a lion to the elephant of worldly sorrow— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the embodiment of valor, whose arrows subdued the pride of the ocean— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the embodiment of truth, whose form is meditated upon in serenity— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the mighty One, whose face shines like the lord of stars, the slayer of Tāṭakā— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who wandered in fair Citrakūṭa, served by Lakṣmaṇa— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the destroyer of Rāvaṇa, devoted to the welfare of all the gods— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the Lord of the three worlds, whose lotus feet are worthy of worship— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the One who reveals the path to liberation, the destroyer of impurity and bondage— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the swift destroyer of foes like Mārīca, protector of sacred rites— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the lotus-eyed Lord, who grants great joy to sincere devotees— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the dark-cloud-hued One, who severed the head of Kumbhakarṇa— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the wielder of the playful divine weapon that punished the crow-demon— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who took the dwarf form, who seized all the wealth of Bali— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the radiant One with lotus eyes, the treasure of liberation— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who dwells among celestial groves, whose feet are tender like new leaves— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the mighty-armed One who broke the bow of Śiva, ever devoted to Sītā— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the auspicious form honored by kings and queens, born in the Ikṣvāku lineage— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the graceful Lord who delights in beauty and protects His devotees— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the radiant One, whose bow-bearing form is fit for meditation— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the great soul who dwells like a bee in the lotus-hearts of yogis, the king of kings— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who took the Boar form, the generous giver, the source of creation— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the abode of beauty, adorned with offerings of devotion— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who as Narasiṃha tore open the chest of the demon king— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to Him who took the Fish form to restore the sacred knowledge— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the infinite, immeasurable One, of supreme and divine glory— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to pure consciousness who dwells in hearts free from ego— to Rāma, remover of affliction. Salutations to the Supreme Self, adorned by Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa, enthroned in royal glory— to Rāma, remover of affliction. May Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, mighty warriors with drawn bows, protect me before, behind, and on every side. May Rāma, ever armed and vigilant, standing before me with Lakṣmaṇa, protect me always. I bow again and again to Śrī Rāma, remover of all distress, bestower of every blessing, delight of the world. Whoever recites this hymn with a loving heart, at dawn or at dusk, in praise of the Supreme Lord Rāma, Crosses the ocean of worldly existence and all afflictions, and attains union with Rāma by divine grace. In times of imprisonment or great distress, one who recites this hymn properly is freed from suffering. Reciting it with discipline for seven days, meditating on the Lord with each verse, one is released from all troubles—without doubt. He who repeats it daily with firm resolve, especially in the sacred month, gains great prosperity. He becomes wealthy like the lord of riches— of this there is no doubt; indeed, whatever one desires, That very desire is fulfilled through this sacred hymn. Practiced with worship, recitation, and offering, it grants all that is sought. One who performs it fully attains all desires, lives happily in this world, and is liberated hereafter.
